17th Annual Youth Fishing Derby:
Come join Harcourt Fly Fishing 3G for their annual Fishing Derby
on Saturday, May 2nd at Alder Park Pond
Be sure to arrive at 9:30 am to check in. Bring your own fishing gear* (*a limited number of poles will be available to those who do not have their own) BAIT will be provided.
Age categories:
5 and younger - (Learn-to-Fish clinic is at 10am) Fish from 10:30am-11:30am
6-8 years old:(Learn-to-Fish clinic is at 10:30am) Fish from 11:45-12:45pm
9-15 years old: (Learn-to-Fish clinic is at 11am) Fish from 1:00-2:00pm
THIS IS A FREE EVENT, BUT YOU MUST REGISTER ONLINE BEFORE THE EVENT at newcastlerec.com Online registration ends at noon the day before the event.
All kids fishing must attend a learn-to-fish session that will occur between 10am and 11:30am according to their age. The Learn-to-Fish clinic is only 15 minutes.
