CRVL Boys’ Basketball League (Grades 3rd-6th)

This program is a member of the Colorado River Valley League and includes 1-2 practices a week with games on Saturdays in other regional communities and New Castle. Volunteer coaches needed!
Cost: $60.00/$70.00 after 12/11.

Fitness Circuit Training with Kelley!
MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS from 6:00-7:00 PM at the NEW CASTLE COMMUNITY CENTER!
Join instructor Kelley Cullen for one hour high intensity fitness classes that focus on developing all aspects of fitness, including muscular strength and endurance, power, speed, agility, balance, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. All exercises are calisthenic based with lots of high impact plyometric exercises included. No equipment is used.
Classes are open to youth 13+ and adults.
$30.00/ session (6 classes)

MIGHTY MAKERS YOUTH ART CLASSES
Experience the fun of creative play with local Art Educator and Maker, Lynn Cassidy! Participants will use their imagination and apply their artistic skills to make amazing creations at the New Castle Community Center.

NEW FOLK DANCE CLASS BEING OFFERED!
New Castle Recreation has partnered with local resident, Patricia Esteban, to offer Folk Dance here in our community. Patricia received her B.A. in Dance from BYU and had been involved in folk dance for nearly 20 years and is excited to share her talents with the residents of our area.
FOLK DANCE FLYER
ADULT FOLK DANCE CLASS - Patricia is offering an Adult Fold Dance Class on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m. beginning on October 20 through December 8. The fee is $48.00 for adults, $40.00 for seniors over age 55, and $8.00 to drop-in for single classes. Patricia will be teaching traditional dances from North America, Europe and Asia!

Our mixed Quads 4 vs. 4 Volleyball Leagues are a great way to meet new people and play some volleyball! Minimum of one female player required on the court at all times.

New Castle Recreation is always looking for instructors for new programs, including music, art, craft, sports, etc. Instructors typically receive a percentage of the participant registration fees, ranging from 50%-80%. To submit a proposal for fall programs, just click on the form below, complete and submit it no later than Monday, July 20!

Did you know the Town of New Castle has a variety of facilities available for rent for meetings, workshops, craft fairs, reunions, birthday parties, etc? The Community Center has two rooms available, along with a kitchen, and rental fees include tables, chairs and Wi-Fi internet access. The Large Room has a standing capacity of 162 people and rents for $34.00 and hour while the Small Room rents for $24.00 an hour and has a capacity of 44. Many of our parks have picnic shelters that are also available for rent at the rate of $20.00 for every two hours.. Athletic fields can also be rented for $40.00 per every two hours.
